Meet Our Nugget!
Nugget was born in July 2020 and is a Maine Coon/Manx kitten. You can’t help but fall in love with this happy go lucky kitten, or smile when you see her play with her toys, other cats or give you kisses at night when you share your pillow.
Unfortunately, Nugget was born without a tail , which has led to nerve damage, and surgery was required to restore normal bowel and/or urinary sensations.
A cat’s tail extends from the spine. The tail is an important part of a cat’s body as it provides them with a sense of direction and balance. If the tail is to short it can lead to never damage.

When Nugget turned 7 months old, she is strong enough for her surgery that will get her out pampers and give her the normal life she deserves. Nugget did get the surgery and it has improved her balance, but unfortunately did not repair the never damage that she needed to aid in her sensations of going to the litter. Nuggets does get daily reminders and assistance a to go to the litter.
